Something a little different!
Recently, at my workplace, I was invited by the company CTO to do a presentation to a few hundred people at my workplace on the topic of Rally Driving, or more specifically, Rally Navigating.
My aim was to keep it fun and as entertaining as possible.

It seems like yesterday that I was selected to become an AWS Community Builder.
It was actually at the beginning of 2024 when I submitted my application to join the prestigious program.

I got a knock at the door this week, and it was a delivery for Mr Baron! A rectangular box the size of a DVD case. I wasn’t expecting a delivery so I had a look for any postmarks but didn’t find anything that gave it away.
What could it be?

It doesnβt seem like a year ago when I was planning my first draft for submission to become an AWS Community Builder, and I still recall nervously clicking the button to submit my final application.
I also still recall waking up to receive an email confirming I had been selected to join the program. π

Week one of working at SSCL has flown by with inductions and mandatory training aplenty! I have been made to feel very welcome and have had some excellent conversations.
